Golf Rehabilitation

Golf-Specific Rehabilitation Program:

What is TPI?

Titleist Performance Institute. Your physical therapist will be TPI certified, with specialization in golf specific rehab.

Who benefits from TPI?

High school athletes, country club members, and recreational golfers of all skill levels. Whether you have an ongoing injury which is affecting your golf game, or want to improve performance in general.

There is not one way to swing a club

It is rather an infinite number of swing styles. However, there is one efficient way for every player and it is based on what the player can physically do. A physical screen will be performed on the first evaluation which will look at swing mechanics, biomechanics, physical fitness, movement quality, current health, and past medical history. Your therapist will analyze physical limitations in a player’s body through this comprehensive screen, and will determine how these limitations can affect the golf swing and potentially lead to injury. Once the screen is complete, your physical therapist will create a unique plan of care specific to each golfer.

Peak Physical Therapy provides the player with access to turf to work on advanced golf specific exercises.
Some of our treatment techniques include:

Strength and conditioning,  proprioceptive, balance, and agility exercises, plyometrics, power training, soft tissue massage, joint mobilizations, electrical stimulation, cold laser therapy, sports retraining, aquatic therapy, dry needling, cupping, kinesio- and sports taping, and much more!
